Well, I’m a little behind (see visual aid photo of sheep)ha ha! I am just now posting my feedback from the webinar I watched for 23 things Kansas…I chose “Off the Shelf”which is about information curration. I learned about conducting daily business in a new way. As we all interconnect electonically in this new age of info. sharing, we can use this info.to engage our communities. Use resources we have not used in the past, or use them in new ways. It’s changing your perspective if you will, to invite a future of information exchange from sources you may not have used before. Innovative and timely…we need to learn to access these sources now and learn how to use the tools to do this. Borrowed ideas from sources in this exchange can inspire us, tell us what has worked for someone else. Even a business in an unrelated field. Why? Because people, and their wants, needs, etc. can be utilized for marketing if you look at what attracts them, and what works. A good source for this is Infopeople…I will post a link.

Hey everybody, the sun is out today!!Just the usual today…doing some catalog work. I get a change of pace on Wednesdays by working in the adult areas of our library=D Ready to gear up for summer reading! Should be a fun theme…Make a Splash Read!!

What a long winter…13 degree windchill today. A bit behind in my posts. I think I need to thaw out and try to get more done!! Ha! I suppose at the bare level of human instict we are sub conciously feeling the need to hibernate right now. LOL Anyway, uploading more pix of Atchison Library. Thinking of featuring a different co-worker each week on my blog. Any thoughts on the idea?
